We prioritize mental health and believe in normalizing open conversations to foster understanding and acceptance in schools and communities. Our initiatives focus on delivering trauma-informed and social-emotional learning (SEL) programming that empowers individuals, supports educators, and strengthens community connections. Through mindful events and accessible tools, we create spaces where people can come together, share experiences, and prioritize mental well-being. By working collaboratively with schools and communities, we strive to reduce stigma, promote resilience, and build a future where mental health is embraced and valued.

Reconnect and Rise: Movement and Mental Health
We believe that promoting mental health through movement, conversation, and connection is essential to building stronger, more supportive communities. We embodied this belief through our Reconnect and Rise event, led by the incredible Kayla Castellon and supported by Aerie. This event brought community members together for reflective journaling, meaningful dialogue, and shared meals, creating an environment that fosters connection, encouragement, and strength. These moments highlight the importance of prioritizing mental health while uniting people to uplift one another and cultivate a sense of community.
Healing through Art: Songs That Make You Unbreakable
We believe storytelling is a powerful way to celebrate diverse experiences and foster understanding. Songs That Make You Unbreakable is our original show that gave individuals a platform to share their unique journeys through music. Each performer took the stage to tell their personal story of what makes them unbreakable, followed by a song of their choosing that represented their journey. The event showcased talented performers who used their voices to highlight themes of strength, resilience, and identity. Through these shared stories, we continue to learn from one another and celebrate what makes each of us truly unique.
The Unbreakable Organization, in partnership with the Harvard Institute of Politics, hosted an impactful event on Mental Health in Activism, featuring Christina Ogunti, LMHC, Executive Board Member and Mental Health Task Force Member at The Unbreakable Organization, and Jai Gillard, Harvard senior, school shooting survivor, and Youth Advisory Board Member of The Unbreakable Organization. The discussion focused on the mental health challenges activists face while advocating for gun violence prevention, covering topics such as trauma's impact, preventing burnout, and setting boundaries. The event also addressed the long-term mental health needs of survivors and communities affected by gun violence, emphasizing the importance of resilience and community resources. Through open dialogue and shared experiences, participants explored strategies for balancing emotional well-being with activism, empowering the next generation to continue driving change.
